Positive Leadership Training
Teach dogs to respond promptly, precisely and reliably to verbal commands when off-leash, at a distance, with distractions and without the continued need for training aids.
Dogs learn best when they are motivated to work with you and learning to communicate can be very rewarding and build a strong bond between you and your dog. Owners should present as confident leaders in the relationship, aiming to be the one your dog looks to for guidance.

​​I am American, living in Oman for 3 years. I've trained horses and dogs professionally for 10 years, mainly in the US. Currently, I volunteer for Muscat Dog Adoption working with foster and rescue dogs to prepare them to be rehomed abroad.
In Washington State, I owned a training and breeding business for bird hunting dogs, specifically German Shorthair Pointers and Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. Many of the pictures you see on this site are of dogs I raised and trained. Through this, I learned the important difference that early training can make in the experience of owning a dog. I am truly passionate about educating dog owners to help man and dog lead happier more fulfilling lives.
I developed a passion for training early on with childhood pets, learning that every animal is trainable if you can communicate with them and know what motivates them.

Training should be fun for dogs and owners; classes involve games, fast-paced learning and a lot of useful information.. hope to see you there!

Private Training Lessons
Private training is available to dogs of all ages. Training will focus on teaching or improving basic obedience commands and addressing problems specific to your dog and home (chewing, biting, jumping, etc). Lessons will include discussions on how to continue your dog's training outside of sessions to maximize the effectiveness and longevity of the progress made during training.

If your dog is reactive to other dogs or people it may be advised to take private lessons before joining a group class.

WildThings On Point is an adventure class for dogs with established basic obedience training. Classes include hiking trips, kayaking, public outings and more!
